* Active Bystander: Learn effective strategies for safely intervening in challenging situations.

* Mental Health Awareness: Gain essential insights into recognising and addressing mental health issues among students.

Why attend?

This training is not just about acquiring skills, it's about building a supportive community. By participating, you'll:

* Enhance your ability to support fellow students.

* Expand your network by connecting with other welfare officers and support representatives.

* Engage in meaningful discussions and share experiences in a collaborative environment.

Special feature: WEL-FAIR

During the training, on Monday, June 10 from 13:00-15:00, you’ll be able to attend the WEL-FAIR. Connect with representatives and ask specific questions in a relaxed, informal setting.

Experience firsthand the wide range of resources dedicated to student wellbeing.

Elect your first-ever Welfare Officer!

Within the WEL-FAIR, you'll also have the chance to meet the candidates running for our first-ever Welfare part-time Officer position. Learn about their priorities and vision for student welfare, and access voting materials to cast your vote.

Everyone welcome!

Whether you're a seasoned welfare officer or new to the role, this training will provide valuable insights and connections to help you excel in your position. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your skills, expand your network, and contribute to a more supportive campus environment.
