Durham Trans Association exists to support and represent students who are trans, non-binary, and/or otherwise non-cisgender, as well as those questioning their gender identity.
We run regular social events to foster fun, growth and connection within the trans community here in Durham - tailored to students’ needs and feedback, with a broad range of activites on offer. Alongside this, we prioritise platforming and championing trans voices, by enabling trans students to shape policy and campaigns, to effect change within our Students’ Union, Durham University, and nationally through NUS.
We hold elections for executive and non-executive officers annually, with unfilled positions also elected termly.
