Tell students about yourself
I'm a second-year Bioscience student from Spain with a passion for creativity and connection. I'm the founder of the Creative Mindfulness Society and an active member of the Poetry Society and LatinSoda Society—because I absolutely love to dance! In my free time, I enjoy knitting, playing Gin Rummy, and painting.
Beyond my studies, I serve as Co-Chair of the Student Voice Committee and proudly represent international Bioscience students in student voice meetings. 💖
If elected, what sort of Officer can students expect you be?
If elected, students can expect me to be an approachable, proactive, and enthusiastic innovator who listens and takes action. I believe in collaborative change, ensuring every voice is heard in decision-making! My experience as Co-Chair of the Student Voice Committee and representative for international Bioscience students has strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. I plan to actively connect with students, creating inclusion and openness while fighting for genuine reforms. With commitment and passion, I hope to foster a friendly and vibrant student environment in which everyone feels empowered to participate and grow. Together, we can make a difference!
Why is this role important to you?
This role is important to me because I believe every student should feel heard, valued, and empowered to shape their university experience. As an international student, I understand the challenges of adapting to a new environment, and I want to ensure that all students—regardless of background—feel supported and included.
I aim to improve communication between students and decision-makers, advocate for better academic and mental health support, and create more opportunities for student engagement. This role is about making sure every student has the chance to thrive, and I am dedicated to making that happen.
