Five Durham student groups have been shortlisted in the National Societies Awards. Selected out of over 600 nominations, it’s great news that so many of Durham’s students groups are being nationally recognised.

Congratulations to the following groups for their place on the shortlist:

• It’s Not OK at Durham (shortlisted for Best Campaign, Project or Initiative)
• Trans Association (shortlisted for Best Campaigning Society)
• DICCU (shortlisted for Best Society Event)
• Charity Fashion Show (shortlisted for Best Society Event)
• Intersectional Feminism society (shortlisted for Best Society)

The awards ceremony takes place on the 9 May in Cardiff. We can’t wait to find out how these groups have done!
