Activating your account enables you to join student groups at the Freshers’ Fair, purchase tickets for events and access the full benefits of your Students’ Union. Activate in time for the Freshers’ Fair to start your new hobby in unicycling, hummus tasting, or whatever else you fancy…

 

You must log in or activate your account by midnight 31 October to be automatically entered into the draw to win a voucher. Winners will be picked at random and notified by email.

 

How do I activate my account?

If you’re a Fresher, or don’t already have a durhamsu.com account, you’ll have received an email with an activation link to your @durham.ac.uk email (sender info@durhamsu.com). You need to follow this to activate your account and create a password. Can’t find the email? Get a new activation email sent here. 

If you're still having issues, try signing in with your CIS username and password before contacting us. Once you've signed in successfully, your account will be activated.

Terms and conditions

• The competition is open to current Durham University students only.
• The winner will be picked at random from those who have activated their account and logged into the website between 00:00 1 August and 23:59 on 31 October 2021.
• The judge’s decision is final.
• No cash alternative is available.
• Winners will be notified via email and must present their Durham University campus card when collecting the prize.
• The prize must be claimed by 30 November 2021.
• Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, we reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random.
• We reserve the right to withdraw the competition at any time.
• We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
