Candidate Profile

Tell students about yourself

Hey! I'm Angelina, a Business and Management student from Russia. My life has been shaped by professional sports, along with the background in art and music, teaching me discipline, resilience, and how to bounce back from setbacks. Now, I’m running a society – American Smooth- with an incredible team, working to create a friendly and inclusive space for everyone. The best part? Seeing people smile and feel happy because of what we bring to them.

If elected, what sort of Officer can students expect you be?

If elected as Faculty Business President, students can expect a leader who listens, collaborates, and drives positive change. I believe in engaging students in decision-making, ensuring their voices shape the direction of our faculty. With strong communication skills, a background in leadership, and a passion for creating inclusive environments, I will work tirelessly to address student needs and foster a sense of belonging. My commitment to transparency, team-building, and innovative solutions will make our faculty an even stronger community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Why is this role important to you?

This role is important to me because I’m passionate about empowering students and creating a faculty that truly reflects their needs and aspirations. I believe in fostering an environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported. Throughout my time in student leadership roles, I’ve witnessed the positive impact of collaboration and inclusivity, and I want to expand on that. I want to see more open communication between students and the faculty, making sure that our voices shape the decisions that affect us. I also care deeply about promoting student well-being, academic growth, and career opportunities. Change is needed to ensure that every student has access to resources and support, regardless of background or situation. As Faculty Business President, I’ll work to make these changes happen and build a community where every student can succeed and feel empowered.

What is your pitch to students?

Make your voice heard. I’m committed to bridging gaps, making sure your concerns are heard, and turning ideas into action. My priority is improving communication between students and the faculty, ensuring everyone has the resources they need to succeed. For students, with students.
