Three things you can't live without
Why did you want to be a Student Officer?
I've seen things happen to students and had some things happen to me and thought, "This isn't right; I will challenge it". There's enormous passion and talent throughout the student body. I will work with these groups and individuals to bring about much-needed change.
How will you lead the SU in achieving its goals?
We must be unapologetically radical in the innovation and firm of our solutions in advocating for students' problems. Openness and accountability are also important. Come to us with suggestions, concerns, or to raise issues. The SU is nothing without the students we represent; effectively mobilising them will be the difference between success and failure.

What advice would you give your Fresher self?
Believe in yourself! I know that sounds cliché, but stay with me. This place can be daunting. You'll feel many different emotions leading you to question what you're doing here and if you belong. Believe that you deserve to be here just as much as anybody else. Believe that you can offer something to every seminar, every discussion, and every space that nobody else can. Approaching your time here with this confidence will help you get the most from what is sometimes a very challenging environment.
